Reactions have trailed the return to Nigeria of president Bola Tinubu several days after the 78th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) ended in New York.
It was the president’s inaugural participation in the world conference and while all other leaders returned to their countries, he did not, sparking speculations abut his whereabouts.
While in the US, the Nigerian leader addressed World leaders at the General Assembly and held bilateral and economic meetings targeted at improving the nation’s economy and diplomatic image.
Presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, remained silent about Tinubu’s exact location after he departed New York on September 22.
However, he returned to Nigeria on Friday night, although unconfirmed reports had it that he flew to Paris from New York.
However, some Nigerians took to the micro-blogging platform, X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their views regarding the president’s return to the country.
