A throwback video of Afrobeats star, Divine Ikubor better known as Rema arriving in Lagos for the first time has surfaced online.
The singer who recently performed his hit single, βCalm Downβ at 2023 Ballon dβOr made headlines once again after the video was shared online.
In the video making the rounds on social media, Rema was seen arriving in Lagos on the 26th of September some years ago alongside two of his friends.
The time stamp points to Saturday, September 26 on a yet to be confirmed year.
Within his few years in Lagos, Rema grew from being a nobody to one of the biggest and youngest faces of Afrobeats music and globally recognized.
His Calm Down single and its remix has bagged multiple recognitions including its latest, six nominations at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards.
