There have been varying reactions to a viral video of the leader of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Tinubu’s wet backside during his visit to Ijebu Ode.
The presidential aspirant was, on Saturday, on a visit to the palace of the Awujale of Ijebu Land when he stood up to give a speech.
While some people believe he unwittingly urinated on himself, others are of the opinion that he may have sat on a wet chair.
Nonetheless, some social media users urged the APC leader to focus on his health rather than on the presidency.
They blamed the people in the room cheering him despite the embarrassing state the APC leader was visibly in.
In his reaction, former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan said in a social media message that, “This is called Enuresis in medicine. It is a condition where young children or elderly persons are unable to control their urine flow. It is not sweat. If it were sweat, it would have been more pronounced on his back. It is not an insult to call a spade a spade!
“Did Bola Tinubu actually pee on himself? Look, there is nothing wrong with that. It is an age related issue. I pray he gets better. I also pray it does not happen to me when I am advanced in age. I mean no disrespect, but this man should focus on his health! For those explaining away Bola Tinubu’s wet backside as just sweat, please you are not talking to children. You are much more likely to sweat on your BACK than on your buttock area.”
Bless Atat responded: “I disagree with your categorical diagnosis, bros. It could well be sweat. He might have sat in a small puddle of water spilled before. It’s not everything that looks the way it seems.“
