Nigeria’s journalist and controversial blogger, Kemi Olunloyo has stated the reason Nigerian singer, Davido got married to his lover, Chioma in a hurry.
The wedding took place in the home of the Adelekes on the 6th of November. It is also thought that the ceremony was the reason Davido came out of seclusion to have a hair cut and clean shave in a barbing saloon.
Sadly, he was seen still grieve-stricken with swollen red eyes as he made efforts to look cheerful and acknowledge the little crowd that saw him.

However, by the 13th of November, Hettysmedia was informed that that Davido and Chioma secretly got married. The news soon hit the internet as skit makers and many contractor pastors and spiritualists cashed in it to draw followers with endless posts.
Many fans at home and abroad also congratulated the couple and are happy that there is finally good news in the Adeleke family regardless of the demise of their beloved little Ifeanyi.
Some skit makers stated that Davido got married to Chioma to console her.
Reports also emerged that key members of both the Rowland and Adeleke families were present at the private ceremony and the bride price was paid and received in full.
Kemi Olunloyo who, sadly used the mourning period of the couple to launch a series of unsavoury posts under the hashtag, #theadelekecurse stated that she is privy to the reason for the rushed wedding.
Kemi said that Davido married Chioma to claim the remains of his son. This, she said is in accordance with the customs and traditions of Igbo land where a child belongs to the father only if the marriage rites, including bride price of his mother have been paid completed in full.
Kemi Olunloyo revealed that Davido was therefore compelled to pay Chioma’s bride price in a hurry to be able to take possession of his son’s body failing which, late Ifeanyi’s remains would have been claimed by the Rowlands.
Some of her posts:
Journalist Dr Kemi Olunloyo added that “In Yorubaland we name our children after 7 days NOT GET MARRIED 7 days after our children DIE. This is not a “let’s move on” tradition. It’s a CURSE We mourn our children 40 days and don’t step out. Chioma has literally validated Iya Raji’s Adeleke’s curse Sha let me be minding my business.”
