Evicted BBNaija Housemate, Yousef has disclosed his reason for joining the BBnaija reality TV show.
The 29-year-old secondary school teacher said he joined the show to represent the Northern part of Nigeria.
The dashing housemate and model who was evicted in Sunday, made the revelation in an interview with Punch Live Interview on Wednesday.
The Nasarawa State indigene whose real name is Yusuf Garba said that the North had not been fully represented since the show began in Nigeria.
He added that he had won himself some accolades during his university days and just wanted to make history on the BBNaija show.
According to him, “What pushed me was a lot of people from the North haven’t really been represented in the show. So I just wanted to make history in the entertainment industry. I wanted it as much as possible.
“I just wanted to make history. I just wanted to go to BBnaija as its the biggest platform for any youth out there.
“It was going to change my life and at that moment, things were not going well at home. I was just looking for that dream.”
Confident that he made an impact, Yousef added that, “I think a lot of people started watching the show from that part of the North. They were watching the show because of me and I was surprised.
“Big Brother is the biggest platform all over Africa. It’s a place where anybody can make their dreams come through. Big Brother has changed my life from nothing to something.
“BBNaija is a place you can go as far as possible. You can skyrocket from one night to two months. Big Brother has changed my life in just two months.
