At least 601 “repentant Boko Haram” terrorists graduated today, 25th July with fanfare.

Their graduation has been trending in the microblogging website, Twitter.

All dressed up in sparkling white traditional attire with Nigerian National colours adorning the venue, the repentant insurgents were celebrated and freed for reintegration into the society.

The celebration took place at the DRR Camp in Malam Sidi, Gombe State. Coordinator of Operation Safe Corridor, Major General Bamidele Shafa gave the update this afternoon.

Nigerians have posted various reactions to the celebration of the repentant Boko Haram members. They query the essence of the celebration when so many women, including Leah Sharibu, Chibok school girls and so many others are still in the captivity of the active Boko Haram members.

Some Christian mothers in Kaduna were pictured naked in protest against the continued genocide of Christian in the zone.
