Popular Nigerian singer, Chike, has remembered his late colleague and friend, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly called Mohbad, on his one year death anniversary.
Chike, who featured Mohbad on his ‘Egwu‘ track, said in his one-year remembrance message that Imole’s impact went beyond the music he played while alive.
The ‘SonofChike” album crooner stated that the “KPK” crooner resonated the light his name Imole communicated.
On his Instagram handle on Thursday, the singer cried that Imole left the world tragically when the bond they were building was reaching its peak.
“Thinking of you today, Mohbad. We created music together, but your impact goes beyond that. Your energy and talent still resonate. Your spirit and light continue to inspire, and I’m grateful for the bond we were building. Rest well, my friend. You will always remain in our hearts,” Chike wrote.
An unreleased video that both artistes shot together has also surfaced online.
