There was mild drama at the Arise TV studio today when lead presenter Reuben Abati clashed with his controversial colleague, Rufai Oseni.
Both anchors were arguing over a statement about the media houses that participated in the EndSARS protest of October 20, 2021.
The mild altercation happened during a birthday message their colleague, Tokunbo Oyetunji. Oseni said the celebrant risked his life to cover the protest in 2021, adding that no other media house was on the street to cover the event.
Countering Oseni’s claim, Abati said it was not only Arise News that covered the protest, saying other media houses covered the protest in Lagos State.
Replying him, Oseni reiterated that no other media house was on the street, except Arise television. Abati interjected again, stood his ground and said other media houses covered it.
