Pastor Mrs. Faith Oyedepo has sent a warning to individuals who take please in intimate relationships with married men or women.
Drawing from the scriptures, particularly 1 Kings 11:1, she highlighted the story of King Solomon, who “loved many strange women,” and used it as a cautionary tale for modern believers.
Mrs Oyedepo explained the concept of “strange men” and “strange women,” describing them as individuals who lead others to compromise their faith and violate scriptural principles.
“Anyone that seeks to take the place of God in your life or make you go against the dictates of the scriptures is a strange man or woman,” she clarified.
Pastor Oyedepo urged her audience to flee from such influences, emphasizing the spiritual and moral dangers of these relationships.
She illustrated this point with an example of unethical practices, stating, “Someone tells you, ‘Just add zeros to that figure; nobody will know.’ Run from such a man—that is a strange man!”
Her message grew even more urgent as she addressed those involved in adulterous relationships. “That man you are running after is not your husband, and you know it. That woman is not your wife, and you know it. What are you doing there? Check out now so they don’t destroy your destiny,” she exclaimed passionately.
Calling on her audience to take immediate action, she declared, “Fire on the mountain! Run!” She concluded with a prayer, canceling the influence of “strange men and women” over her listeners’ lives and urging them to prioritize their spiritual well-being.
