The salaries of Civil servants in Lagos state have been increased by 20% by the newly re-elected governor.
The Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, approved the review 3 days after his election win.
The increase which took effect from January 2023 is contained in a circular released by the state Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola.
The arrears for the month of January will be paid alongside March salaries while the one for February will be paid when April salaries are being paid.
