The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has lifted the ban it placed on Nigerian flights.
The ban was placed on Nigerian flights in the wake of the Omicron variant of Covid-19 outbreak.
The announcement was made on Saturday, 5th of March. The country’s authorities also removed many of the Covid-19 restrictions, a move seen by many as a prelude to the preparations for the 2022 Hajj.
Equally lifted is the ban on direct flights and arrival from 17 other countries including: South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique, Malawi, Mauritius, Zambia, Madagascar, Mauritius, Zambia, Madagascar, Angola, Seychelles, United Republic of Congo, among others.
