A former media aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has revealed the secret behind spraying of money at parties.
He said it is a secret a friend who attends a white garment church shared with him some years back
Omokri was speaking on the backdrop of the money rain at Obi Cubana’s mother’s burial in Oba, Anambra State.
Obi Iyiegbu also known as Obi Cubana had his friends visiting him with lavish. The village youths were not left out as guests sprayed huge amounts of money in bundles and currency pieces.
The funeral has remained the talk of the town after the billionaire business man received 246 cows from friends in addition to hundred of other eye-popping gifts.
He also gifted himself a N46 million diamond chain from popular jeweller, Efobi Stephen. The jewellery had his mother’s face engraved on the pendant.
The burial ceremony is arguably the biggest even in Nigeria in recent times due to the calibre of dignitaries that attended.
Speaking about the activities at the burial, Reno Omokri quoted a friend who attends a white garment church as describing the secret behind the spraying of the money rain at the event.
He said that as people pick the money sprayed on them, the more the sprayer’s wealth increases.
According to Reno Omokri@renoomokri· “True story: I know a guy who attended a white garment ‘church’ in the 80s (thankfully, he is now born again). One of the spiritual rites they used to have him do was spray money on beggars. They told him as long as those people pick it up, his wealth will pick up.”
