Senator Onyekachi Nwaebonyi, representing Ebonyi North, has brought up another allegation against Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
He said that the Kogi Senator has a history of making false accusations, citing an incident involving Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.

Nwaebonyi claimed that Natasha accused the young man of s*xual harassment, but evidence later proved that the man was in the United States at the time. This, he alleged, led to her apologizing and paying damages.
He further alleged that this was not an isolated incident, claiming that Natasha had previously attempted to blackmail a lecturer after being caught cheating during an exam in her school days. According to him, investigations at the time exposed her allegations as false.
He said in an interview with TVC, “The most popular is the case of Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide to Goodluck Jonathan, our former president. She accused a young man of sexual harassment. But as God will have it, the young man, on the said date of the s*xual harassment, was there in the United States of America.
‘So when the man brought his evidence that he was not even in Nigeria, she had to apologize and pay damages to the man. I can name them. I can name three instances. Even when she was in school, she did it to a lecturer. When she was caught, you know, doing funny things in the exam hall, she tried to blackmail the lecturer. But upon investigation, it was discovered that this lady is lying.”
