Former Senator Shehu Sani has joined the Kaduna State State 2023 governorship race as he picked his expression of interest forms on Wednesday, April 6.

The politician and human rights activist made his intention known in a Twitter post this evening.

Sani who represented Kaduna Central in the 8th National Assembly took to the microblogging platform to share photos of himself being presented with the Governorship interest form.

The fiery Senator declared that he paid for the form himself as he would not join some politicians to lie about members of the public buying them the forms.

Sani seized the moment to make a mockery of other political office aspirants who had claimed in different publications that their interest forms were purchased for them by some groups.

According to Senator Shehu Sani@ShehuSani· “I picked my Governorship form…no be any group buy am for me..I no go lie lie.

Generous and philanthropic groups should help the indigent, the needy and the downtrodden and not buy nominations forms for politicians.”
