Tiara Mack, Rhode Island State Senator insists she will not apologize for twerking upside down in a bikini on a beach.
The viral TikTok video of the 28-year-old hit social media about a week ago with many demanding she takes it down and apologizes.

Senator Mack told TMZ that her supporters know exactly what kind of politician she is and she will not pretend to be someone else.
She noted that if anyone felt offended by her time at the beach, then the video is not for that person because she believes she deserves to have joy.

She emphasized that she does not think she should apologize for being an authentic version of herself.
The LGBTQ rights advocate added that she has never shied away from labeling herself as a “queer, Black woman,” and hopes she can show the younger generation it’s ok to be yourself and stay happy while making a difference in the community.
