Joe Igbokwe, Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Drainage and Water Resources, has been shamed on social media after a photo of him trying to take a selfie with Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 general elections surfaced online.
The LP candidate on Sunday attended the historic unification of the Nnewi Community in Lagos.
According to Obi via the microblogging platform, X formerly Twitter, the Nnewi Community in Lagos since 1982, had no unified leadership owing to the disunity among the members.
Amongst persons who graced the event include, Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC and staunch critic of the LP candidate who was pictured striking a pose to take a quick selfie.
The photo has elicited mixed reactions from Nigerians on social media, with many reprimanding the chieftain for taking a selfie with someone he criticised on social media.
