A lady is alleged to have stolen an iPhone12 and got this beating; the scene is not a Hollywood movie but a real life event.
Not sure if this is the best treatment for the unidentified lady. Considering the beating she got, anything could have happened to her as the kicks, blows and strokes of the cain and belts could be fatale.
Most of the assailants would definitely flee but that leaves them with blood on their hands.
On the other hand, it is really difficult for a sales boy/girl to explain the disappearance of an “iPHONE12 worth about half a million Naira to a shop owner.
It is indeed a tough question to answer especially if there is no CCTV footage to prove his/her innocence.
There are however questions about those dealing this jungle justice and the recent #Endsars protest against police brutality.
Sadly too, handing her over to the police is likely to attract another scenario considering the way young men and women are hounded and declared as “yahoo” boys for owning luxury items.
