There is total compliance with the Sit-At-Home order given by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as the communities lie like a ghost town.
The every busy cities and markets are completely devoid of vehicular and human traffic in obedience to the order.
The 30th of May every year has been set aside by the Igbos in general as Biafra Day in commemoration of the day that Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu announced that Biafra had left Nigeria.
The now proscribed IPOB, led by Nnamdi Kanu ordered a total sit-at-home directive on the 31st of May.
The proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB placed a curfew on May 30, but because May 30 this year is a Sunday, IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu has ordered everyone in the East to stay at home today, May 31.
The day would have been the 30th but being a Sunday, he moved it to the 31st.
