Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour N’abania, the famous Nigerian singer, has celebrated his adopted visually impaired son Semah G Weifur.
The ‘Ada Ada’ crooner shared a video on his Instagram page that captured him with his three daughters who wore their school uniforms as they went to felicitate with the teenage son on his birthday.
In the emotional video, Semah embraced his father, running his hand all over his face, pulled down his head slightly, and planted a kiss on his forehead, a sweet gesture that the singer reciprocated.
Flavour proceeded to introduce his sisters’ one after the other to Semah who stretched out his hands to touch their faces and hug them.
They had some family time in the bedroom and thereafter went out to properly celebrate Semah’s birthday anniversary in a highbrow restaurant.
The highlife singer captioned the video; “Happy Birthday Son, More Life and God’s Blessings.”
Social media users have commended Flavour for showing his adopted son, Semah the kind of love recommended by Christ as they also joined the family to celebrate the gifted teenager.
Semah Weifur, a Liberian who was born blind had always idolized Flavour as a young lad and one of his biggest dreams was to meet the Nigerian singer.
Finally, their paths crossed in March 2017 during Flavour’s visit to Liberia where he discovered the talented young Semah.
After he watched him perform his songs perfectly well at an event, that motivated him to do a song with him and he went on to adopt young Semah.
Semah bought the hearts of music lovers after Flavour featured him in his hit song “Most High” off his album, “Ijele the Traveller”.
