Popular Yoruba movie actress Bukky Fagbuyi has revealed what an actor said she must do in order to continue getting movie roles from him and other actors in the movie industry, while also stating how she responded to the situation.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Biola Adebayo Ent during an interview, she disclosed that an actor told her that she must have an affair with him if she wants to continue getting movie roles from other actors in the movie industry.
Fagbuyi said, “When some actors see a new and beautiful actress in the movie industry, they always try to frustrate her. When I talk about s*xual harassment in the movie industry, some people take it as if it is not a big deal.
“When you know how to do something and you are given a condition to have an affair with a man before you are given the opportunity to do that thing, to me that’s s*xual harassment.
“I had a terrible experience with s*xual harassment when a particular actor told me that I will not progress further in the movie industry if I don’t have an affair with him. Some actors told other actors not to feature me in the same movie with them simply because I rejected their request.
“An actor said I must have s*x with him if I want to continue getting movie roles from actors. One of the actor’s friends, who is a journalist, called me on the phone and tried to persuade me to have an affair with the actor, but I refused, and I told him that I will never do it.”
