Popular social media influencer, Solomon Buchi, has announced that his engagement with Arike Adeola has ended.
If it is not a stunt, the breakup is coming barely 2 months after he proposed to Arike.
The news viral at the time after he said that his fiancée is neither the most beautiful nor the most intelligent woman but he’s choosing her.
However, Buchi in a post shared on Instagram on Saturday revealed he is suffering heartbreak, stressing that betrayal hurts.
He wrote: “I’m going through a heartbreak and some days I wake up fine, some days, I wake up a mess. People don’t realise how much they can mess someone up. Betrayal hurts so deeply.”
When asked if the tweet meant Arike has left him, he responded that they were no longer together.
He wrote: “Now that you’ve asked, we are no longer together”.
Although this has sparked reactions online, a check on Arike’s Instagram page shows that she still has pinned pictures of their engagement with the most adorable words of endearment to Solomon.
