The newly sworn-in Governor of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Soludo was infuriated by the commotion caused at his inauguration this afternoon as he ordered the noisemakers out of the even venue.

The former Central Bank Governor interrupted his speech to stress that Anambra State under his leadership would be a place of law and order.

According to him, “Can we tell those who are making noise at the rear that if they are not for the event they can as well leave because the Anambra we are talking about is a place of law and order.”

The Chief judge of the state, Justice Onochie Anyachebelu administered the oat of office on the new Governor.

The event had in attendance, the immediate past Governor, Willie Obiano and his wife, Ebelechukwu, traditional rulers, clergymen and all the 30 members of the Anambra State House of Assembly.

The noisemakers were obviously smarting from the scene of the brawl between the outgoing governor Willie Obiano’s wife and wife of the founder of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Bianca Ojukwu.

Reports say that Ebelechukwu Obiano had accosted Bianca to mock her for attending the inauguration ceremony after vowing never to attend any APGA event where Obiano is present.

This caused a fight between both celebrity women as Obiano’s wife called Bianca an ‘ashawo’ (prostitute).

True to his promise, the governor is using an Innoson vehicle as his official car.
