Chibuzor Opara, one of the siblings of late Barrister Claret Opara Bassey has disclosed that she was not just chasing after her husband because she sighted him with a side chick.
About a week ago, Claret’s fatal car crash sparked mixed reactions among Nigerians online because it was revealed that she died while chasing her husband and his side chick.
In an interview with PUNCH Newspaper however, her younger brother, Chibuzor Opara, stated that he disagreed with the general belief that she went after her husband just because he was with a lady.
He stated that he was very close to Claret and she told him a lot of things. According to Chibuzor, it is no news that Claret’s husband, Sunday is unfaithful to her. He stated that they had known that Sunday was cheating for over 2 years. Chibuzor said that this is the reason he doesn’t believe his sister chased her husband because she saw him with a side chick.
He said that he believes something else made her do it. He said “I think something happened, something made her do that. It was not just because her husband was with another lady. She knew her husband was unfaithful to her”.
Chibuzor stated that something else might have triggered his sister to chase after her husband.
