Adam Tuggar, son of Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, has broken silence on the reports suggesting that the Bauchi State Deputy Governor, Auwal Jatau, slapped his father at a public gathering.
slammed Shamsuddeen Bala Mohammed, son of the Bauchi State Governor, accusing him of being behind the spreading of false information.

Responding in a strong worded statement he posted on his official Facebook handle on Saturday, Adam Tuggar, noted that he has never engaged in political discussions on any cyberspace but he’s compelled to do so.
Tuggar stated, “The recent shameful act by the spoiled brat son of the Bauchi State Governor and his media dogs has compelled me to throw some tantrums.
“Honestly, I have never seen an educated illiterate like him.
“Spreading such baseless rumours only proves to me that he has not changed. I am not surprised, considering he once abused and trolled highly respected individuals like Atiku Abubakar, simply because they had political differences with his father.”
described the actions of insulting his father by Shamsudeen as immoral and uncalled for.
He continued “Regarding the matter currently trending, I can beat my chest and say confidently that even if the fabricated story were true, I assure you, if it had been your father who slapped Amb. Tuggar, he would have gone home with a bleeding mouth and nose, let alone an incapacitated Deputy Governor like Jatau.
“We all know that politics is a no man’s land. However, the Tuggar you are trolling on Facebook is the son of grassroots politicians, with his father having served as a Senator during Nigeria’s Second Republic. Where was your grandfather then? Who was he? What contributions did he make to the development of Bauchi State, let alone Nigeria at large?”
He expressed concern that “Tuggar like other potential gubernatorial aspirants, has not even officially shown interest in the state’s highest office. So why the unnecessary noise and attention-seeking?
Your father has more pressing issues to address. He should focus on the affairs of Bauchi State instead of diverting the masses’ attention by fabricating and spreading such stories in the media. No wonder you indulged in this act of stupidity; after all, both you and your father, from whom you inherited this shamelessness, have served time in prison after his tenure as FCT minister. Looting and squandering the state’s treasury clearly runs in your blood
“Next time, when two elephants are fighting, learn to zip that hole on your face you call a mouth; otherwise, you will continue to squander the little respect you have left in the Bauchi political arena.”
It was gathered the allegation stemmed from the turbaning ceremony of the former governor of Bauchi State, Mohammed Abubakar in the Bauchi Emir’s Palace on Friday. It was suggested that the deputy governor of Bauchi State, Auwal Jatau has slapped Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar.
Following the development, Shamsuddeen Bala has in a post on his Facebook handle shared ridicules of Yusuf Tuggar.
He has also shared countless post on the alleged slap by other Facebook users believed to be his father’s political supporters.
On his part, the deputy governor of Bauchi State, Auwal Jatau has since denied the allegation.
Speaking with journalists in Bauchi, the Press Secretary to the deputy governor, Muslim Lawal, insisted that the allegation is false noting that the deputy governor will never do such.
Muslim stated, “No,no, how can a deputy governor slap a minister? I don’t think such ever can happen in Bauchi because l know my principal as a responsible leader and number two citizens in Bauchi can never slap a minister of any person.”
The press secretary who noted that he was hearing the allegation for the first time from the journalists added “I am not aware about that and I am hearing it for the first time I am hearing it. If there is any evidence that the deputy governor did that you can speak on that.
“We don’t know about it. The deputy governor cannot do that.”
