Nigerian presidential aspirant and activist, Omoyele Sowore, has been released shortly after he was detained by the Department of State Services (DSS) upon returning to Nigeria from the United States on Sunday morning, September 15.
The “Revolution Now, ” convener revealed the arrest in a post he shared on X, and then, about 20 minutes later, he disclosed that he had been set free.
He stated that his passport was also released to him.
He wrote; “I have just been released by the Nigerian Immigration after a brief detention and my passport released back to me. #RevolutionNow”.
