People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain and former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has warned Prof Usman Yusuf to stop playing with fire.
Not done, Fani-Kayode called him an “uncircumcised Philistine.”
This comes after the former Director-General of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) demanded from the Southern Governors the reason they banned open grazing without consulting the Fulani leaders.

Speaking during an AIT ‘Kakaaki’ television interview, Prof Yusuf said, “They are there making laws for a people and the people are not consulted, ask the governors, were any of the Fulani consulted ? How come 13 or is it 15 Governors of the South met in a hotel to sit and talk without consulting any Fulani leaders ?
Yusuf added, “You must sit down and talk to the people you are making laws for. None of the Souther Governors has sat down to discuss with the Fulani leaders and tell them what they are trying to do.”
Miffed, Fani-Kayode responded in his social media handles that, it was “sheer arrogance and effrontery of this uncircumcised Philistine appalls me.
He questioned why the governors should consult the Fulani to pass laws that concern their individual states and reminded Prof Yusuf that the Southerners are not slaves.
According to real_ffk “The sheer arrogance and effontry of this uncircumcised Phillistine appauls me. Why should the Governors of the South consult with Fulani leaders about the laws they are passing in their respective states?
“Are Southerners slaves? And what the hell does he mean when he says the Governors of the South should “be careful”? This man and those that think like him should stop playing with fire.
“We want peace and we are ready to build bridges but the slightest attempt to threaten, denigrate, enslave or intimidate us will be met with contempt, disdain, defiance and a cold and ruthless resolve to resist those that seek to oppress us.
“Be warned: the South has come of age.“
Femi Fani-Kayode@realFFK also praised the Southern Governors saying they taken the right steps. According to him, “Southern Governors, you have made us proud! I commend & salute your courage! This is the first step on the road to freedom, equity & justice.
“This is the beginning of a new Nigeria & a signal to the world that the South can no longer be taken for granted & has come of age.“
