Super Eagles’ goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali has been honored with a chieftaincy title in his community in Rivers State.
Nwabali, who led Nigeria to the 2024 AFCON finals with outstanding saves was crowned with the title of Ugo Egbema, “The Pride of Egbema Kingdom,” by His Royal Majesty, Nzeobi Evaristus Amida, the traditional ruler of Mgbede community in Egbema Kingdom.
The traditional ruler noted that the Super Eagles’ goalkeeper was given the title for bringing honor to his people.
Last week, Stanley Nwabali was rewarded with a state honor along with a N20 million gift by the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
