The Oyo state police command has confirmed that the suspect in the mûrder of an Ibadan-based Instagram clothes vendor, Adeshina Olayinka, who d!ed at Wetland Hotel, Akobo, in Ibadan, has voluntarily turned himself in.
The deceased is alleged to have d!ed after the man she was with checked out early on Thursday morning.
According to Punch Newspaper, the suspect willingly reported at the police station after he was called by the management of the hotel.
A staff of the hotel who spoke to Punch Newspaper, said the suspect didn’t hesitate to honour the invitation.
“So, we called the suspect to inform him about the incident. He was shocked and rushed down to the hotel to present himself to the police. “ the source told punch Newspaper.
Speaking further, the source said the suspect told them that the deceased complained about being weak the night they checked in.
According to a staff member of the hotel, “he said the lady was complaining that night that she was weak. And that was why he just allowed her to rest.”
