Suspects Involved in Arotile’s Death Handed Over to Police

The three suspects involved in Flying Officer Arotile’s death have been handed over to the Police by the Nigeria Air Force (NAF).

Nehemiah Adejoh, Igbekele Folorunsho, And Festus Gbayegun were handed over to the police on Friday at the NAF Base, Kaduna.

The information was made available to newsmen by the NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola.

Recalling events leading UP to the accident, the Commander, 453 Base Services Group, Group Captain Hadi Ahmed said the accident happened on the 14th of July.

At about 4:30pm, a Kia Seranto SUV, driven by Adejoh with two of his friends on the passenger seats knocked down Arotile.

The incident occurred as she was walking along Air Marshal Ibrahim Alfa Road within the Nigeria Air Force Base, Kaduna.

Group Captain Ahmed said that the 3 occupants of the SUV were Arotile’s former school mates at the Air Force Secondary School, Kaduna.

According to him, the NAF will provide the police with all relevant details to assist them carry out their investigations.

The three suspects involved in Arotile’s death were handed over to the police the DAY after her funeral at the Military Cemetery, Abuja.

She was buried with the full honours given to outstanding military officers in Nigeria. All funeral protocols were in strict compliance with the NCDC #COVID19Nigeria guidelines.
