A Nigerian female Army personnel, identified as Ruth Ogunleye, has maded allegations of s*xual harassment against three of her superiors.

According to her, the trio of Col. IB Abdulkareem, Col. GS Ogor, and Brig. Gen. IB Solebo have made life unbearable for her in the army.

She narrated how Col. Abdulkareem has particularly made things difficult for her in the force over her refusal to yield to his advances.

She alleged that Abdulkareem had repeatedly attempted to assault her, administered injections to her against her will, forcibly ejected her from her residence, and confined her in a psychiatric hospital for several months.

Ogunleye added that Abdulkareem has hindered her career advancement by denying her promotion courses.

According to her, she met Col. Abdulkareem in 2022 when she was posted to Cantonment Medical Centre, Ojo, where he asked her out but she refused. Since then, the officer became her nightmare in the Army, threatening to dismiss her every time, insisting that she possesses evidence of his atrocities against her.

Ogunleye said she understands that the aftermath of her published video is her dismissal from the army, adding that she can no longer endure the treatment.
