A tanker explosion has caused motorists to scamper to safety along the Lagos Ibadan Expressway.
Reports say the tanker which was carrying Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly called petrol, exploded on Friday night around the OPIC axis in Isheri, Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
According to Channels Television, the incident left travellers stranded while motorists took one way because of the explosion.
The cause of the explosion, however, is yet unknown, and neither is the truck driver’s destination known.
It was also not clear if there were casualties from the incident as details remain scanty on the explosion.
