A video footage of a 7-year-old girl who shielded her little brother from heavy earthquake rubbles in Turkey for 17 hours has surfaced on social media.
The death toll from the 7.8 magnitude earthquake has now surpassed 7,000 people.
World Health Organization (WHO) noted that nearly 23 million could be affected by the disaster, adding that they were especially concerned about areas where they’ve not received information from yet.
In the video, the little girl was seen holding, protectively, her brother during the earthquake, thereby saving his life.
They were both reported to have made it out alive from the rubbles.
