A teenage nanny accused of killing her boss’s 6-month old baby has confessed to security operatives and newsmen, how she did it.
The nanny identified herself as Odo Chiamaka who lived in Agulu, Anambra State before her uncle brought her to Lagos to work as a nanny on a N15,000 monthly salary
According to her, she was initiated into a cult group by her primary school mate.
She said the classmate gave her biscuits and sweet during break. The next night, she found herself in a meeting with her classmate and all other members of the cult who welcomed her.
Chiamaka narrated that when it was decided that she would come to Lagos, the cult group told her that they would require blood from her but she refused to shed blood.
She began working as a nanny on January 7 in a home in Lagos and she said her cult members began appearing to her again.
She said they come to her in a dream and give orders.
When asked how the baby she was supposed to take care of died, the nanny said they came to her in her dream as usual and they gave her a bowl and told her to call the baby’s name, Obiora Oso Okolo, four times.
After calling the baby’s name, the bowl was filled with blood and the toddler died died soon afterwards.
Chidinma added that she has been wanting to leave the cult group but could not.
She also revealed that when she tries to go to church, she becomes unable to walk and only gets better when church is over.
