BREAKING ! Third Mainland Bridge Reopens At 12 Midnight, Saturday – Minister

Nigeria’s Minister of Works and Housing has announced that the Third Mainland Bridge will reopen at 12: midnight, Saturday, 27th February.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu also made the announcement in his official Twitter handle, According to him,

“Dear Lagosians, The Third Mainland Bridge maintenance and rehabilitation is completed, and is now fully accessible to all. Thank you for your patience and kind understanding during the period of its closure. Please adhere strictly to traffic laws while commuting.

“Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on new media, Bashir Ahmad@BashirAhmaad said that, “After several months of partial closure, the Federal Government has today, opened the Third Mainland Bridge for public use.”

The Chief Press Secretary to the governor:

CPSLagos@officialCPS_Lag “According to the Minister @FMWHNIG, @tundefashola SAN, rehabilitation on the Third Mainland Bridge, is fully completed and will be opened to traffic from 12noon today.”

Lagosians are however, not impressed as they see several potholes on the bridge and complain that closing it down for six months was a waste of time.

Is this the third mainland bridge Fashola closed for 6 months? This apc govt is nothing but a scam. They should go see what bridge construction is in Rivers State.
