Persons suspected to be thugs attacked and burnt down the office of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) in Calabar, Cross Rivers State.
Also vandalised are several cars. The hoodlums removed many parts of the vehicles including batteries and tyres before setting them ablaze.
The thugs did not spare the residence of Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba where they broke into in their attacks, looted and set ablaze.
The Senator represented the Cross River Central Senatorial District between 2003 and 2015.
He is also the Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
Also burnt is the WAEC office in Calabar. It was ransacked, papers and scripts scattered before being set ablaze.
The psychiatric hospital and Independent National Election Commission Office were not spared.
Both premises suffered the same unfortunate mishap.
