President Bola Tinubu has appointed Rinsola Abiola, daughter of the late South-West politician, Moshood ‘MKO’ Abiola, as Senior Special Assistant on Citizenship and Leadership.
Rinsola’s appointment comes barely two months after Tinubu appointed another member of the Abiola family, Jamiu Abiola, as Special Assistant on Special Duties.
In an update on X, Rinsola would be working with the leadership of the Ministry of Youth, promoting civic education, political literacy and inclusion of marginalised groups.
Similarly, Tinubu appointed Titilope Gbadamosi as Special Assistant on the Delivery and Monitoring of Youth Initiatives.
She is assigned to design effective operational strategies to ensure the deliverables of youth initiatives align with the promises of Tinubu’s administration to the Nigerian youths.
The appointments were confirmed in statements by the presidency on Friday.
Taking to her X page, Aderinsola Abiola @RinsolaAbiola expressed appreciation for her appointment. She said, that it is “With a heart full of gratitude to the Almighty, I wish to express my profound appreciation to my father and leader, H.E. President @OfficialABAT , for deeming me worthy of serving our dear country as the Senior Special Assistant to the President (SSAP) on Citizenship and Leadership.
“My participation in the Renewed Hope campaign was a decision borne of duty and conviction; being called upon to serve is thus an honour that I am exceedingly thankful for.“
