The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Thursday night, paid a visit to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at his residence in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Tinubu, who had earlier visited President Muhammadu Buhari, stopped by to see Osinbajo, one of the aspirants of the APC Presidential primary election which held on Tuesday and Wednesday.
While giving an update via his Twitter handle, Osinbajo’s spokesman, Laolu Akande said the vice president got a call that Tinubu would stop by to greet him and have a talk.
He said Tinubu came along with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and that the Vice President received them with some of his associates.
Akande said that the meeting which lasted about 30 minutes, was pleasant and fruitful.
Akande tweeted that, “We got a call: Asiwaju Tinubu who was visiting President at his Presidential Villa residence this evening will be making an unscheduled stop at VP’s residence also.
“Lagos Gov accompanied him & VP received the surprise with some of his associates whom he was meeting with earlier.
“The meeting was one of the pleasantries and very convivial. The meeting lasted about 30 minutes.”
