Bayo Onanuga, the Director of Media and Publicity for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council (PCC), on Monday mistakenly shared a video advertising the presidential flag bearer of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
It was obvious the APC media director picked a video at random and did not review it before posting on his verified Twitter page. What therefore was apparently meant to de-market Peter Obi, his principal’s opponent ended up amplifying his strengths.
In the video shared by Onanuga, some Anambra-based northern Muslims narrated how Obi treated them when he was the governor of Anambra State.
According to them, the former governor was the only government official who visited them during their Ramadan fast, to worship and eat with them after their prayers.
They noted that the LP candidate also brought two trucks filled with bags of rice and food condiments for the Muslim community in his state at the time.
After mistakingly posting the video, Onanuga was called out by tweeps who faulted him for not watching the video accompanying the post first, but rushed to share it in a bid to de-market the LP candidate.

Onanuga who wanted to de-market Obi in a post on his Twitter account claimed that the presidential candidate is not who Nigerians think he is.
Some Twitter users mocked him for posting a video supporting Obi.
