Some chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have traveled with the presidential flag bearer Atiku Abubakar, to London for a scheduled meeting with the British Government.
Atiku arrived London, the United Kingdom on Monday for the meeting with the officials of the British government billed for today, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Ahead of the meeting, the former Vice President had gone on a vacation to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates to spend time with his family since January 1.
After the London meeting, he would return to Nigeria for the continuation of his campaign rallies, scheduled for Lokoja, the Kogi state capital on Saturday.
The PDP flagbearer confirmed his arrival in London ahead of a series of meetings with the UK government in a tweet via his official Twitter handle on Monday.
He wrote: “Touchdown in London, United Kingdom, where I will be having critical meetings that will build the necessary bridges in our quest to recover Nigeria.”
Atiku was accompanied on the visit by embattled PDP chieftain, Chief Raymond Dokpesi; House Minority Leader, Ndudi Elumelu; Director of Public Affairs of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, Senator Dino Melaye; former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri, and Timi Frank, among others.
Also sighted in the entourage is the founder of Ray Power media group, Chief Raymond Dokpesi.
