Top Politician Allegedly Beats Wife to Death over Side Chic (video)

A wife identified as Chidiebere Iloka is alleged to have been beaten to death by her husband, Mbaolike Iloka over a side chic.

Iloka is a top politician in Anambra State and the Transition Chairman of Nnewi North Local Government Area.

The couple is alleged to have gotten into a heated argument over her husband’s infidelity and an affair with a mistress.

The allegation adds that in the heat of the squabble, he descended on her hitting her so hard that she slumped and died before help could come.

Her lifeless body is seen in the now viral video with a gapping gash on her forehead and bruises all over the head.

However, the husband popularly known as Mba Mba claims he has no hand in the death of his wife. According to him, they had a very blissful marriage until the day she suddenly died.

Mba Mba said he retuned from work on the fateful day with his apprentice and his wife served him his meal only for him to hear a loud sound from the kitchen.

He rushed in with his boy only to see her on the floor. Both men were unable to to lift her to the car until he sought the help of passersby.

Sadly, on arrival at the hospital, Chidiebere was confirmed dead.

The State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Ify Obinabo on her part, cautioned men about wife-battery. He urged them to leave home and return when tempers have doused.

The Commissioner noted that her ministry has had to intervene at least twice when reports were received about domestic violence in Iloka’s home.

In a curious turn of events, the father of the deceased insisted during a televised interview that he is not aware of any incident of domestic violence between his daughter and her husband.

According to to them, he has had to watch them closely and never saw any animosity between them. He noted that media houses have written stories of the violence that he never witnessed or received from either his daughter or her husband.

Unconfirmed reports add that Prof Chukwuma Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State has relieved Mbaolike Iloka of his appointment pending investigations.
