News - Women's Perspective

A total collapse of the national electricity grid has occurred once again throwing several cities including the federal capital territory into darkness.

Electricity companies announced that the collapse occurred on Sunday evening just before 7:00pm.

Going by the power supply disruptions at the national level, this is the 6th time the incident is happening in 2022.

The JOS Electricity Distribution Plc speaking through the head of corporate communication, Friday Elijah, informed its customers via its Facebook page on Sunday about the disruption in power supply.

He said: “The Management of Jos Electricity Distribution Company Plc wishes to inform the general public that the current outage being witnessed is a result of system collapse.”

We hope to restore supply as soon as supply is restored.”

Go and get your PVC if you don’t have. Transfer your old one to your new location or request for replacement of your damaged or lost card.

We must get it right 2023 or we are doomed!

We can’t continue like this!
