Funke Akindele, about a forthright ago, threw a house party to celebrate her husband’s birthday. In attendance were more than the stipulated number of people allowed in any gathering.
To make it worse, social media handles were agog with videos of the party.
Subsequently, Akindele received a lot of backlash from the public for apparently being insensitive to the efforts of the government to contain the spread of covid-19.
She was therefore arraigned in court and fined by the presiding judge.
