A trending video shows some aggrieved traders at Ogbete Main Market in Enugu State protesting the sealing of their shops by the State Government.
Upon assumption of office, Governor Peter Mbah placed a ban on the perennial Monday sit-at-home imposed by a faction of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Many residents are yet to comply with the governor’s directive for fear of possible attack by unknown gunmen terrorizing the South East region of the country.
Following the non-compliance, the governor ordered the closure of banks and businesses at the Ogbete main market and other parts of the state for not opening on Monday.

The development has now sparked a protest by Ogbete market traders who took to the street on Wednesday to condemn the action of the governor.
In a trending video, the traders were seen marching within the state capital, chanting dissenting songs and asking that their shops be reopened.
