Traffic Robbers Arrested in Lagos While Pursuing their Victim

Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos state police command have arrested two suspected traffic robbers.

The criminals were arrested on Friday December 9.

The suspects notorious for attacking commuters on the Alausa-Ketu pedestrian bridge on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, were apprehended while pursuing one of their victims. 

In a statement released, the RRS said

”Victor Stephen (23) and Sunday Michael (20) were both arrested around 5:20 a.m. today on Alausa – Ketu pedestrian Bridge on Lagos – Ibadan Expressway.

The duo waylaid early users of the bridge.

They were chasing an early user of the pedestrian bridge when they ran into the hands of RRS bike riders stationed by the bridge.”
