Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has appointed music legend, Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as Tuface or 2Baba, as his Technical Adviser on Entertainment and Community Outreach.
The announcement was made known via a video circulated online, where the governor praised the music icon’s enduring influence and commitment to the state.

“Let me thank you very deeply for supporting my administration and for preparing me for 2027,” Governor Alia said.
He added: “And I feel it will not be out of place at all because you are a guru of entertainment. Once you say TuFace, people start dancing, even without the song. So we are happy you’re here on behalf of the Benue State government and our very good people who want to give you more responsibility plus the ones you have been doing because you have the capacity to do some more and help us chart a way forward to improve other people’s lives and to gain more from your wisdom and advisement as well.
“So I’m pleased to announce that we would make you a technical advisor to the Governor on entertainment and community outreach.”
