The microblogging platform, Twitter has removed a post made by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo for copyright violation.
The social media giant said the tweet was removed for copyright violation of Beyonce’s song.
The Vice President had shared a tweet on the 8th of March in commemoration of International Women’s Day.
The theme song used for the video was Beyonce’s ‘Run The World.’
A Twitter user notified the bird app about the tweet alleging that Osinbajo has “never done his job properly” and is allegedly using the American music star’s song “without permission.”
The post was there after taken down by Twitter.
Ólayinka@OlayKnowless added further that, “All twitter has established by taking down that tweet is that everyone is and should be subject to the law regardless of status. Your VP is a SAN and understands that. You people should have sense.
