Two students of the Calvary International Ministry (CAPRO) in Birkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State have been kidnapped by #unkowngunmen.
The gunmen are said to have stormed the school close to the Yakubu Gowon International Airport, Haipang on Wednesday night and engaged security operatives in a fierce gun battle.
The superior fire power of the security agents forced the bandits to beat a retreat taking only two students.
Reports say that some of the students were asleep while those who were awake and noticed strange activities quickly alerted security operatives who responded swiftly.
One of the students is said to have later escaped during the gun duel between the security agents and the kidnappers.
Calvary International Ministry (CAPRO) is an interdenominational agency with over 700 missionaries from 26 countries with presence in 35 countries in the North and Sub-Saharan Africa.
No official statement has been issued by the school but the spokesperson for the Plateau State Police Command, Gabriel Ubah, confirmed the development.
