Popular talent manager, Ubi Franklin has explained his relationship with Davido and his wife, Chioma.
He also spoke about how Davido trusted and hired him to look after his wife Chioma.
During an interview on the Tea with Taymesan podcast, Ubi discussed his friendship with the DMW founder and his wife, Chioma.
He stated that because Davido views him as family, he asked him to manage Chioma in a 2018 message.
Franklin noted Davido has helped him in many ways and has never condemned him for any of the contentious problems involving his marriage or business.
He added that the 30BG CEO and his wife, Chioma, are people he loves and values highly especially since they are always there for him.
Reacting to online criticisms against him for tattooing Ifeanyi, Davido’s late kid’s nickname, ‘Popsicle’ on his hand, he stated that he will do anything for the family and personally loved the toddler so much.
This comes after online critics called Ubi a “clout chaser.”
Franklin noted on his Instagram Stories that many people are unhappy and seeing someone express genuine affection, they label them as arrogant and chasing clout.
Ubi Franklin summed up his position in the insta story post below;
“Opinionated people:
They have little awareness of how they’re coming off or how others are emotionally reacting to them. Often they have the best of intentions to help whomever they’re speaking to and can’t understand why the other person isn’t happy to hear what they have to say.
Keep your opinions to yourself,
I don’t care how anyone feels about how I have decided to live my life.
Just focus on you and leave I and those I have decided to love out.
Beacuse we are very pretentious about showing real love, when we see real love we call it clout.”
