A UK-based Yoruba Nationalist, Adeyinka Grandson has been convicted for terrorism, inciting genocide and conspiracy to commit terrorism.
Adeyinka is also the the President of the secessionist group, Young Yorubas for Freedom (YYF).
He was arrested by the Scotland Yard Counter Terrorism Command, London and the Metropolitan Police following an approval given by the Westminster Magistrate Court in London.

The secessionist leader drew the attention of the international community and security operatives when he began issuing threats targeted at Igbos living in the South Western part of Nigeria.
He also called on the Yoruba race to secede from Nigeria. He is, in addition, alleged to have threatened to unleash chemical weapons on the Northern people of Nigeria if the Yoruba race is ever attacked in any way.
When he was arrested for inciting “racial discrimination” and encouraging terrorism, his passport, two Google phones, one MacBook, one tablet, a hard drive and a draft copy of his new book were confiscated.
