A video emerged of the moment female students of the University of Abuja (Uniabuja) protested that security men have been watching female students via CCTV camera as they take their bath.
The information was made public by Lia the star designer@juliaorji.
According to her, “This school (uniabuja) put CCTV in the female hostels. I don’t know what’s more disturbing. The fact that the security men watching the camera feed see naked girls daily or the fact that this particular security man walked up to naked girls bathing as if it was nothing.
“Normally it’s an offense to bath outside the bathrooms. Instead of asking them to vacate or give them appropriate punishment, these girls are extorted of money and sometimes harassed.
“Apparently he’s been doing this, molesting them and even extorting people. This was his colleague speaking on the issue.
“They even flogged a married woman and a pregnant woman
“I know 2 babes that he collected 20k each from in one night. Massive cash out. He will even threaten them that they will get rusticated if they don’t pay.
The school is yet to give an official statement on the development.
